Julee-anne Bell is Managing Director of World Access for the Blind, Australia, the independent Australian affiliate of the California-registered non-profit World Access for the Blind (WAFTB). She is a human echolocation expert and trainer of the WATFB Flash Sonar echolocation systems and its curriculum for cultivating self-directed achievement by blind and vision-impaired individuals. Julee-Anne received her Bachelor of Music (First Class Honours) in 1993 from the University of Queensland and her Masters in Music Studies in 2004. She has established and directs several vocal ensembles and has a private vocal studio where she trains youth and adult singers. She has performed with the IHOS Opera, Queensland Opera, represented Australia at the Wataboshi Asia Pacific Music Festival has taught vocal lessons and master classes as part of her work with the IHOS Music Theatre Laboratory.
