Michael is a partner with ‘The Robotics Hub’, an early-stage robotics and AI fund. The Robotics Hub works with portfolio companies to produce outstanding businesses from early concepts & technologies. Sample companies include RoBotany (warehouse-scale indoor farming); Ariel Precision Medicine (precision medicine for pancreatic disorders); and Agility Robotics (bipedal walking robots).
Michael’s previous work has focused on innovation and commercialization of deep technologies. He invests and advises companies spanning AI, robotics, quantum computing, enterprise computing and more. In previous roles, he has been startup CTO and startup founder; led enterprise open innovation as founder and Chief Technologist for Citrix Startup Accelerator; led corporate innovation as a senior member of Citrix Labs and CTO Office. Michael also holds a PhD in AI from UNSW and a B.Ec. from University of Sydney.
